AIMS & SCOPE

Toplama is a scientific journal of communication and community service that publishes empirical and conceptual research articles using quantitative, qualitative, and participatory approaches. Quantitative research in this journal includes studies based on statistical data and numerical measurements aimed at analyzing relationships between variables. Such research may take the form of population surveys, experiments, or quasi-experiments that prioritize data validity and generalizability. Meanwhile, qualitative approaches focus on gaining a deep understanding of social and cultural phenomena. Articles using this approach may employ methods such as ethnography, phenomenology, case studies, narrative analysis, or grounded theory. In the field of community service, Toplama Journal opens space for research using participatory methods and collaborative approaches. Approaches such as Participatory Action Research (PAR) emphasize the active involvement of the community in the research process to achieve social change.
