Artificial Intelligence Policy

Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Psikologi  recognizes the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the research and writing process. Although these technologies can assist authors at various stages of academic work, this journal continues to enforce strict ethical standards regarding their use to ensure the integrity and originality of scientific content.

Use of AI Tools

Authors are permitted to use AI tools (e.g., grammar checkers, language polishers, data analysis tools) as aids. However, AI-generated content must not replace critical thinking, data interpretation, or the authors’ original intellectual contributions.

Authorship and Accountability

AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, or similar large language models (LLMs) must not be listed as authors. Only individuals who meet the criteria for authorship—including the ability to take public responsibility for the content—may be listed as authors.

Transparency

Any significant use of AI tools must be disclosed in the manuscript (e.g., in the methodology section or acknowledgments), including the tool’s name, version, and purpose. Undisclosed or deceptive use of AI may result in the rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Data Integrity and Privacy: Authors must ensure that any personal data or information entered into AI tools complies with ethical research standards and privacy regulations, particularly when handling sensitive psychological data or participant-related data. Peer Review and Editing: The peer review process at Psympathic is conducted by human experts. Reviewers are advised not to use AI tools when evaluating manuscripts, particularly to generate reviews, due to concerns regarding accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical responsibility.

By submitting a manuscript to the Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Psikologi, authors affirm their compliance with this AI Policy. The editorial board reserves the right to reject or retract any manuscript found to violate these guidelines.
